You will be asked to undress to your underwear, so your osteopath can assess, observe and examine you. Then, once the diagnosis is clear, your recommended treatment plan will be discussed with you.
Your treatment could involve hands-on soft tissue massage, acupuncture, stretching of tissues, mobilisation of joints and spinal manipulation. Please be assured that we will be respectful at all times.
We are recognised with all major medical insurance companies. Most insurance companies require you to be referred by your GP prior to treatment. Please check the terms of your policy for its requirements. If we are to claim our fees directly from the insurance company, we will require your policy details and a claim authorisation code.
We accept cash, debit cards and internet banking.
We ask for children under 16 to always be accompanied by an adult.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 notice. Failure to do this may mean that someone else, who is in pain, will be denied treatment. We do charge for appointments cancelled within 24 hours and we ask for your understanding.
We aim to ensure your experience at our clinic is helpful and professional. If you feel unhappy in any way regarding your visit, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can try to rectify the issue. If you prefer to speak with an alternative practitioner, then simply make this clear when you call or email. We aim to deal with all concerns as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, if your concern is not dealt with to your satisfaction by the clinic, the next port of call is to contact the General Osteopathic Council, which is the statutory regulator of all osteopaths in the UK. www.osteopathy.org.uk, 0207 357 6655
